A man drove his car into a crowd of protesters in Seattle and shot someone during a demonstration on Sunday evening.
The Seattle Police Department said on Twitter that it took a suspect into custody. The city’s fire department said in a tweet that it transported a 27-year-old man to a hospital and that he was in stable condition.

A journalist named Alex Garland posted a video of a man who said he attempted to disarm the shooter.
